MARCO ROSA
Managing Director
Marco Rosa, Founder, has worked all his life in selling and marketing travel products, train journeys, cruises, and accommodation. That is 26 years of travel experience! He has travelled to at least sixty countries, many multiple times, and journeyed on trains, river boats, cruise liners, small planes, private jets. He has worked for Carnival Corporation, Orient Express, Abercrombie & Kent, Emirates Group and Pandaw Expeditions. He has extensive contacts through all branches of the travel industry through most countries in the world. In his extensive experience, Marco has reorganised sales strategies, introduced digital marketing activities, managed operations, planned PR events, improved brand identities and especially successfully increasing sales.
ALEX SCASNY
Sales and Marketing Director
Over 20 years experience in branding and communication have made Alex a professional in all aspects of marketing. Recently working as a Creative Director, he was involved in developing strategies for various brands in different industries such as lifestyle, fashion, travel and interior design. Alex strives to deliver the highest standards in all the projects he works on and his attention to detail ensures the best possible results. He is very excited to share his expertise with the team and all our partners, bringing his passion for travel to his professional life. Apart from exploring the world by mountain bike, parachute or diving, he is always curious to discover new places, countries and cultures. You can find Alex in the UK or in his native Germany.
ANDREW DACK
Product Director
Andrew has lived and worked in many places, from his native Australia to the Middle East, Italy and the UK. He has travelled widely and has experienced many destinations. He has worked in a variety of settings on diverse projects, which has allowed him to acquire a flexibility to readily tackle new challenges. Although trained as an architect, his skills and interests have led him to other areas of design and travel. As an architect, he has worked on hotel and resort projects. More recently, as a designer, he has prepared assorted marketing documents. He is a stickler for detail and takes satisfaction in a well-designed and well-executed product. Although he has travelled widely, his three-year plan is to see more of Britain with his family.
SUSYN ZABELL REILLY
Business Development Manager
Susyn has a solid history of increasing productivity and enhancing business performance to deliver outstanding professional support: ten years in marketing at Citibank and JP Morgan Chase in London, New York and Puerto Rico, twelve years creating and managing a popular rural holiday destination in Andalusia, and formerly Executive Assistant to the Founder of Pandaw Expeditions in Southeast Asia. Susyn brings another truly multicultural perspective to our well-travelled team. As an enthusiast of remote landscapes and outdoor activities, she is always eager to conquer another mountain in another country on foot, horseback or bike!
GARY TOSHACK
Sales Director UK
Gary is a seasoned travel industry professional with 20 years in sales and marketing. With a natural talent for developing and implementing successful sales strategies through a strong network of senior industry contacts worldwide, Gary has held leadership roles for destinations, boutique hotels, luxury resorts and DMCs, demonstrating great versatility and expertise in his role as Sales Director of Plateau. Having lived and worked in the Netherlands for a decade, running his own tour operation and gaining fluency in Dutch, Gary has built a comprehensive understanding of the Benelux outbound travel market, making him a valuable asset for Plateau’s partners in the region.
BYRON ROSA
Sales Manager
Having just earned a degree in Business Management with first class honours, Byron has now joined Plateau. He brings with him fresh ideas and energy to develop our operations and strengthen our sales contacts. His personable manner is well suited to his new role of contacting travel agents and tour operators. Byron has a broad interest in travel and in seeing new places. He has lived and studied in Italy and speaks Italian. When not studying and working, he plays video games and reads. He is particularly interested in history and model-making.
JUDITH RONSDORF
Sales Director (DACH Region)
Judith has over 25 years’ experience in the hotel and luxury travel industry. Specialising in the DACH region of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, she has held various leadership roles, successfully expanding brand visibility and cultivating key partnerships, most recently as Sales Director of Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa and previously as Head of Sales for Shanti Maurice Resort & Spa, Mauritius. Her role is to provide DACH region travel professionals with an exceptional B2B experience with product information on the luxury brands we represent, as well as training and sales support. Judith is committed to connecting travel industry professionals with the unique, luxury experiences represented by Plateau.
LLUIS GRAU
Country Director Spain & Portugal
Lluis brings a broad range of experience in public relations, leisure and tourism to the Plateau team. As former Managing Director of Costa Cruises, he orchestrated their launch in Spain and Portugal before taking the role of Corporate Director of Sales based in Genoa. In more recent years, Lluis held a consultancy role for several well-known tourism brands in both the public and private sector. In his role of Country Manager for Spain and Portugal, Lluis engages with the tour operators, travel agencies and travel designers to develop awareness and sales of the luxury brands we represent, advocating a more traditional personal touch when it comes to establishing and developing relationships. He is a strong supporter of sustainable tourism and shares the Plateau ethos that every holiday should be a unique experience, his motto being “fewer tourists and more travellers.
SILVIA COSTA
Business Development Manager Southern Europe
Silvia’s is a specialist in Commercial Communications Management and brings a wealth of experience from the events world, arranging MICE programmes and working closely with DMCs. Extensive marketing and media skills gained from working in different fields within the leisure and tourism industry have mapped out an exciting track record, demonstrating professional versatility in her sales role within the Plateau team dealing with tour operators in Southern Europe. Former positions include commercial events manager, press relations with a major hotel chain and an international cruise line as well as senior real estate negotiator. Fluent in Spanish, French, English with conversational Italian and Portuguese, Silvia’s love for travel combined with her decision making and listening skills have brought many meaningful long-term relationships across the travel sector.
KAREN CONLON

Australia & New Zealand
Based in Sydney, Karen has a wealth of relevant experience at senior level in the luxury travel industry extending over several decades and she enjoys representing Plateau’s hidden gems to travel industry professionals across Australia and New Zealand. Previously with Belmond for 10 years, Karen was Account Director for Groups under their owner LVMH in Australia and New Zealand, and beforehand was Director of Sales, Trains and Cruises for Asia Pacific, including Australia and New Zealand. Her impressive skillset creates a valuable contribution to the continued growth of Plateau’s network in the Southern Hemisphere.

With more than 17 years in the industry, Cat has built up a wealth of experience complemented by wide-ranging and valuable relationships with key UK media in the travel and lifestyle, luxury, broadcast, property and trade sectors. Having worked both in-house and at agencies to director level, Cat’s experience spans tourist boards such as Bermuda, Las Vegas, Palm Springs and Santa Monica; hotel brands including The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and Hilton; tour operators including TUI’s Travelmood, Somak Holidays, Intrepid Travel and Travelsphere; cruise lines, Costa Cruises and Pandaw Expeditions; private jet company, Jet Republic; holiday-home company, HomeAway and tourist attraction, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Florida.

With over 12 years of travel PR experience, Anita has her finger firmly on the pulse when it comes to what makes a story, where the hot destinations are and where will be next, new consumer trends, movers and shakers in the media and in-vogue style and design. Anita’s PR experience spans tourist boards, airlines, hotels, ocean and river cruise lines, OTAs and tour operators. Key clients have included Hilton, Rotana Hotels, Pandaw, Gane and Marshall, The London Helicopter, Owners Direct and Air Europa. In addition to delivering outstanding PR coverage for her clients, Anita’s creativity has been skilfully deployed for dedicated social media campaign management and event design, organisation and delivery. Anita has travelled to 50 countries so far, with favourite experiences ranging from riding trains in India to riding ostriches in South Africa.

With a track record of achieving highly successful integrated public relations campaigns, Susan Bejeckian has held positions on both sides of the desk, first as a journalist and then as a top-notch public relations pro. Boasting more than 25 years in PR, Susan has represented tourist boards such as Tourism Fiji, Cook Islands Tourism, Tourism Solomons, New York Tourism and Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board. On the hospitality side, she has developed creative programs for leading hotel companies including InterContinental Hotels, Lowes Hotels, Hilton, Ritz-Carlton, Conrad Hotels, Hotel Nikko and MGM Grand Hotel & Theme Park. The PR veteran has also created highly successful PR campaigns for tour operator Trails of Indochina, Saga Holidays, and cruise line Pandaw Expeditions.
BELLA & HAZEL
Feelgood Managers
Although far and away the youngest of our team, Bella and Hazel have rapidly risen to management. They have quickly achieved leadership roles within the team, firmly giving orders to be fed or taken for a walk with a simple howl or surreptitious chew on an available shoe. They have appointed themselves as human resource managers, regularly enforcing work breaks for a beneficial walk across the fields. Even procurement interests them. They take great pleasure in presenting their acquisitions to the team - the most recent being a carefully chewed television remote control. Although their contributions are not always appreciated, their joyful manner always wins the team over.
